Cynthia Foster named Woman of Influence in Real Estates Forums 22nd Annual List

Seattle (Aug. 18, 2015)Colliers International Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CIGI; TSX: CIG) is pleased to announce that Cynthia Foster, President, National Office Services, has been named to Real Estate Forum’s prestigious 22nd annual Women of Influence list. 

Cynthia brings a background in both capital markets and tenant rep/agency brokerage to Colliers International, where she leads the firm’s national office services under both the occupier and investor platforms, including capital markets, tenant representation, leasing agency, property management and valuation. 

With more than 20 years of experience leading significant transactions and developing new business initiatives for multinational clients across a wide geographic range, Cynthia drives office solutions nationally with a focus on Colliers’ strategic client markets. She works closely with market and service line leaders including Karen Whitt, president of investor services, and Scott Nelson, president of occupier services. 

In addition to her involvement in numerous industry non-profits, Cynthia is also highly focused on civic leadership. She is on the Board of Trustees and numerous committees and task forces at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Cynthia is a co-founder of an executive women networking group, the Committee of Professional Women. She is also on the Board of Advisers for the Westchester Children’s Museum and is involved with the Museum of the City of New York. She is on the Board of Governors of the Harvard Business School Real Estate Alumni Association. 

For 22 consecutive years, Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence list has highlighted the accomplishments of women professionals in the traditionally male-dominated industry of commercial real estate. The 50 honorees on the 2015 Women of Influence roster were chosen from a field of more than 350 high-caliber nominees and stood out with their outstanding contributions to the industry, deal-making prowess and characteristics that exemplify leadership.
