Summary

Former CBRE Managing Director will lead South Florida business, focusing on strategic growth in the region

SEATTLE, Aug. 19, 2015 — Leading global commercial real estate services firm Colliers International Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CIGI; TSX: CIG) today announced that Kenneth Krasnow has joined the firm as Executive Managing Director | South Florida, effective immediately. Krasnow, who most recently served as Managing Director at CBRE, will focus on Colliers’ continued strategic expansion of dedicated resources and services in South Florida.

“Colliers is fully committed to ensuring we are offering best-in-class client service in this thriving region, and the addition of Ken as market leader furthers this goal,” said Craig Robinson, President | USA, Colliers International. “With almost 30 years of acclaimed experience in commercial real estate, Ken brings an exceptional level of on-the-ground market knowledge and is well positioned to support our firm in the South Florida market.”

“Ken and I worked together successfully at Cushman & Wakefield and I am thrilled to have him join the Colliers South Florida leadership team,” said Joseph Harbert, President of the Eastern Region. “Ken shares Colliers’ entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence on behalf of clients.”

Prior to joining Colliers, Krasnow oversaw operations in CBRE’s South Florida offices, providing strategic support on business development and other ventures to grow the firm’s operations and market share in the region. He was responsible for more than 460 employees, including 80 brokerage/capital markets professionals. During his tenure, he recruited more than 39 sales professionals in South Florida and in 2014, his region executed more than 975 lease and sales transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $2.9 billion.

Krasnow’s industry honors include being named to “Top 50 Leaders in Commercial Real Estate” by Real Estate Weekly, “Top 40 Under 40” by Real Estate New York and “Next Great Leaders” by Real Estate Forum, among others.

“What drew me to this role is the enterprising, entrepreneurial culture of Colliers, as well as its reputation for being such a collaborative team of professionals,” said Krasnow. “I’m excited to get started with the energetic brokers and staff in place in the market, and to partner again with Joe Harbert, as we worked together previously while at Cushman & Wakefield in New York.”

This high-profile addition to the team is the latest move by Colliers to expand its already strong presence in the South Florida market. The company has also recently acquired a preeminent Miami-based property management firm, Pointe Group Advisors, and has added a number of notable CRE professionals to its South Florida offices.
